Watching ourselves watch . . .

I fell in love with this 2006 Marilyn Minter photograph called Cyclone the instant I saw it. Minter continues the theme of "women about women", but this time takes on the body, the visceral, and the grotesque. She strikes me as quite profound in her ability to show the dark side of beauty without prejudice, as she has for example in these city billboards.

But today, and hopefully from here forward, we will go beyond ArtKrush.

Here are a few online goodies many may already know of but which I feel the need to include. They are interractive, human, and emotional. And a great way to satisfy the ever present voyeuristic needs of the modern psyche.

First a dip into the quite general - a question and answer game.

Next, a dip into the emotional realm which I warn you can be for some an infinite blackhole.

And of course, in the spirit of peace and love, please do take a long relaxing swim in the world of love in words and pictures.

Lastly, do take a peek at the man behind these new ways of collecting ourselves for our selves, or just check out the number 27.
